Digital Footprint/ Digital Citizenship
A digital footprint is something that could leaves a trail back to you. Anything you do online like, filling out a survey, buying something online, or sending an e-mail can leave a trail back to you.
Digital citizenship is creating your own profile and respecting your own privacy. Digital citizenship respects other peoples creativity and talks to people in a nice way.
Some positive examples of a good digital citizenship is, when someone post a piece of art work online and ask you what you think of it, you should tell them things like it looks nice, or it's very pretty or beautiful. Using appropriate language is also good digital citizenship.
Some negative examples of digital citizenship is commenting on there art work saying things like, it looks terrible, it's ugly or other mean things like that. Using inappropriate language is not being a good digital citizenship.

Assignment: DigiTeen Introduction
After reading some introductions from other students in the project:
1. Look at the rubric so that you will know how the introduction will be graded (advanced is worth the most points, beginning is worth the least points).
2. Write 5 - 10 (or more) sentences to introduce yourself.
3. Pay particular attention to correct spelling, capitalization and punctuation - this is SCHOOL WRITING, not TEXT writing.
Hey, my name is Madyson I am in 7th grade and I go West Middle School in Iowa. My favorite subject in school is math. I'm in seven different sports, softball, basketball, golf, bowling, cross country, track, and soccer. Technically I play nine sports because I am on two basketball teams and two softball teams. Out of all the sports I play soccer is m favorite, I like playing goalie but I prefer forward, I actually got invited to go over seas to Europe to play soccer for team USA. I have a little brother his name is Ayden and he is 5, we get along better than most brothers and sisters. I enjoy hanging out with friends and making people laugh. I actually enjoy school and I have also been invited to Europe again this year to learn and go to school over there.
